MAAD Jeans Day Check Donation

Wakefield Co-operative Bank President & CEO, Jeff Worth, presented Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) with a check for $240 from a recent Jeans Day, which included a $120 personal contribution from Worth out of his own pocket, matching employee donations.

Every month, bank employees are encouraged to wear denim to work on designated Jeans Days in exchange for a small donation to a community organization. May’s Jeans Day money went toward MADD’s 10th annual ‘Walk Like MADD 5k’ fundraising efforts, which took place at Lake Quannapowitt on Saturday, May 5th.
