VA MORTGAGE LOANS
Helping Servicemembers, Veterans, and eligible surviving spouses become homeowners

Purchase Loans help you purchase a home at a competitive interest rate often without requiring a down payment or private mortgage insurance.

Cash Out Refinance loans allow you to take cash out of your home equity to take care of concerns like paying off debt, funding school, or making home improvements.

Interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan (IRRRL), also called the Streamline Refinance Loan can help you obtain a lower interest rate by refinancing your existing VA loan.

Adapted Housing Grants help Veterans with a permanent and total service-connected disability purchase or build an adapted home or to modify an existing home to account for their disability.

MASSHOUSING OPERATION WELCOME HOME
This program provides affordable mortgage financing as well as closing cost and down payment assistance to help members of the Reserves and National Guard, active-duty military, Veterans and Gold Star Families achieve the dream of homeownership.

$2,500 Closing Cost Credit
Operation Welcome Home borrowers can now take advantage of a closing cost credit for up to $2,500. Mortgage closing costs are an often overlooked expense. This credit is in addition to MassHousing's Down Payment Assistance Program.

Down Payment Assistance Program
Operation Welcome Home borrowers can qualify for a down payment assistance loan for up to 5% of the purchase price or $15,000, whichever is less.
This loan has a 2.00% fixed rate and 15-year term, and is repayable upon sale or refinance of the subject property.

Wakefield Co-operative Bank is a proud VA lender; we look forward to working with you and thank you for your honorable service to our country.
