Wakefield Co-op has been a fixture on Wakefield’s Main Street since our founding in 1887, a part of the Lynnfield community since opening our Main Street office in the 1950’s, and now happy to be a community neighbor and partner with our debut branch in Melrose at 526 Main Street. In 2023, our assets increased to over $310 million, and we have the residents and local businesses to thank for entrusting us with their hard-earned money and continuing to be the driving force behind our strength and stability.
Though we are small in size compared to other banking behemoths, we remain large in heart and service. We value every one of our customers and get to know them by name, not just by account number or balance size. We know our customers have many options when choosing a bank, which is why we don’t underestimate the importance of a friendly greeting and true personal service.
