Wakefield Co-operative Bank presented a check in the amount of $202.36 to the Friends of Lake Quannapowitt (FOLQ). Monies raised were collected from the Bank's monthly Jeans Day employee fundraiser.
The mission of FOLQ is to promote public awareness and provide long-term protection and enhancement of Lake Quannapowitt and its surrounding public lands.
To date, the Bank's Jeans Day has raised over $29,000 for local nonprofits since the program's inception!
