Wakefield High School senior hockey player, Olivia Cameron, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Wakefield Co-operative Bank at the team’s end of season banquet earlier this month. Olivia was selected to receive the scholarship by Coach Kory Falite for her sportsmanship, leadership, and overall positive attitude on and off the ice.
“We are proud to present the scholarship to Olivia this year,” said Jennie Terry, Marketing Manager at Wakefield Co-operative Bank. “This is the third year in a row we’ve awarded the scholarship to a senior female hockey player and we always look forward to meeting the players that the coaches handpick to receive it. We wish Olivia the best of luck at Stonehill College this fall.”
