Jeans for Mission of Deeds

Wakefield Co-operative Bank employees wore jeans to work recently to benefit Mission of Deeds. The bank’s President & CEO, Jeff Worth, doubled employee donations with a personal contribution out of his own pocket bringing the donation to $308.

Every month, bank employees are encouraged to wear denim to work on designated Jeans Days in exchange for a donation to a community organization. Mission of Deeds was nominated by employees as a Jeans Day recipient for their impeccable dedication to kindness, respect, compassion, and providing household essentials and furniture to anyone who may lack the means to live in dignity and the comfort we often times take for granted. Over $4,800 has been donated in 2019 to date to organizations such as Kiwanis, Lynnfield Mom’s Group for Sam Halpern, Lahey Kidney Transplant Department, Samaritans Hope, and more.
