$1000 to Wakefield Small Business Relief Fund

Small Business Relief Fund Donation

Wakefield Co-operative Bank donated $1,000 to the Wakefield Small Business Relief Fund, which provided financial support to more than 30 local businesses that were closed or significantly affected by COVID-19.

The fund was established by Wakefield Community Partnership, Wakefield Independence Day Committee, Wakefield Main Streets, and Wakefield Rotary Club and raised $70,300 which was, in turn, given back to local business owners.

“All of us here at the bank were honored to provide this donation in support of our fellow neighbors and local businesses,” said Jeff Worth, President & CEO of Wakefield Co-operative Bank. “It’s times like these that truly bring communities together and we are grateful to be a part of one here in Wakefield.”
