Melrose, MA – Mohammed Bezzat, Vice President of Retail Branch Administration & Business Development Officer, is pleased to announce the addition of Melrose resident, Leena McQuaid, as Senior Universal Banker at the bank’s new branch at 526 Main Street in Melrose.
Ms. McQuaid has worked in the financial industry for over 14 years, most recently with Cambridge Savings Bank, formerly Melrose Bank, as a customer service representative dedicated to establishing and deepening customer relationships.
In her role at Wakefield Co-operative Bank’s first location in Melrose, Ms. McQuaid will work with Branch Manager, Evon Gerges, to attract new customers to the bank and enhance existing relationships through superior service, and will support the bank’s mission of acting as a true community partner and neighbor in Melrose.

Ms. McQuaid’s local volunteer involvement includes Melrose Graduation Night, Melrose Victorian Faire, Melrose Farmers Market and Stoneham Theater. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University in India and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Bunker Hill Community College. She is fluent in Hindi, Sindhi & Marathi.
