Each year, Wakefield Co-operative Bank spreads holiday cheer in the communities it serves. For Thanksgiving, the Bank made a generous donation of thirty-six $50 Shaw’s Supermarket gift cards to the Melrose Emergency Fund.
“Melrose is grateful for the continued support of Wakefield Co-operative Bank to the Melrose Emergency Fund, especially during this Thanksgiving season,” said Mayor Paul Brodeur. “This is a great accelerator for our ongoing efforts to help Melrose residents receive the resources, programs and financial assistance they need to create an equitable and collaborative community. The support from all donors, including the generous donation from Wakefield Co-operative, is critical to the success and wellbeing of our residents.”
