We are pleased to announce that Patricia O'Connor, talented artist from the Lynnfield Artist Guild, is displaying her beautiful paintings at our Lynnfield Branch throughout June 2023.
About Patricia O'Connor: For Patricia, art has always been a part of her life. Patricia has been painting for over 40 years in all mediums. She started in oil, continued in acrylics and for the past 15 years has been doing watercolor. Patricia's personal favorite is watercolor. She enjoys trying to create the subtleties of color, shadow, light and contrast using watercolor.
Although primarily self-taught, Patricia has taken courses over the years at the Boston Center for Adult Education, Lynn Evening School, and North Shore Community College. She studied for three years with Jack Jones. She enjoyed painting on location with Jack Jones’ students in Vermont and various places on the North Shore. Her paintings have been in shows in Lynn, Lynnfield, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Topsfield and has received numerous awards. Patricia has been an active member of the Lynnfield Art Guild for many years. At the present time, Patricia is taking Bill Deveny’s Watercolor art class at the Lynnfield Senior Center.
